Title: Mobile Developers Location: New York City, NY Duration: 3+ Months No of Positions: 1 Start Date: ASAP Rate: $DOE Required Skills: * Must have 8+ years of IT experience with HTML5 based mobile apps but the most essential skill set is advanced JavaScript. * Mastery of JavaScript and an Object Oriented language such as Java or C++ * Background in designing Object Oriented software, re-usable components and frameworks in Java or C++ * Deep understanding of implementing Object Oriented frameworks in JavaScript using techniques such as: organizing code into classes, constructors, inheritance, abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism, virtual methods * Experience with SVG and Canvas * Experience in data visualization * Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 * Ability to code and debug HTML5, JavaScript and CSS * Experience with mobile web or mobile app development using either native (iOS/Objective C or Android) or mobile web (HTML5 with jQuery Mobile or Sencha Mobile) * Experience building high performance web or mobile web apps with demonstrated ability to optimize through good design and coding practices Desired Skills * Experience w/ Agile development methods, especially scrum * Experience working with off shore teams * Working knowledge of PhoneGap or or other Mobile Hybrid JavaScript Frameworks * Working knowledge of designing UI's for multiple form factors using techniques such as responsive design, device detection, CSS3 media queries * Working knowledge of designing mobile web apps for low bandwidth and high latency network connectivity.
