*Job Title: Release Engineer* *Location: Alpharetta, Georgia* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract*** *Job Description:* The Release Engineer is a member of the Vantage HCM team responsible for the execution of delivering Vantage HCM to market through Release Management, Configuration Management, and delivery of packages to ADP�s deployment teams. The Release Engineer I is responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting Release Management tools, including the build system (Jenkins), the source control system (SVN and Clearcase), and other tools required to deliver Vantage HCM to market. The Release Engineer works closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Deployments and Project Management in support of building and facilitating the timeline, operations, and execution throughout the Vantage HCM release process. Key responsibilities include: Escalation contact for build and packaging issues. Support and operations of the Vantage build system, support and system administration for Vantage Build and Packaging tools, development of build and packaging automation and encouraging best practices throughout the product team. A key secondary responsibility is training and supporting the offshore team Release Configuration Engineers on their Releases by providing onshore follow-up and assistance when needed. Familiarity with Configuration Management concepts (Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Reproducibility, Traceability, Concurrent Development) *Required * Experience in Building and Releasing software.
