Job Description
MUST have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the
following disciplines; Computer Science, Information Technology,
Information Systems Management, or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years building, enhancing, and supporting web-based applications
3+ years in systems analysis with proven prior experience in systems
process and workflow analysis, programming, and being a part of a project
team
Extensive web application development using J2EE architecture and
object-oriented technologies
Experience in system integration, automating business processes, and
exchanging data between systems
Experience working in all phases of the software development lifecycle,
from requirements gathering to design, construction, testing, and release
Strong customer service and team focus as well as a positive attitude and
solid work ethicEssential:
Knowledge of Best Practices for Software Development projects, Quality
Assurance, and Project Life Cycles
Expert in developing systems in a Unix/Linux environment
Experience developing and publishing reports
Working knowledge of release management disciplines
Practical knowledge of project management principles

THE PROCESS:
The first step will be the review of the resume by HR for the minimum
qualifications. Then the supervisor will review in comparison with the
other candidates and ask that the best candidates be invited to

interview.
The second step is a telephone interview with the supervisor and a panel of
at least two other technical individuals. To ensure clarity of language
abilities and skills are in line with what is written on the resume.
The third step is an in-person interview, with the panel.
Depending upon the quality of the candidates provided we expect to have the
person on- board by the end of March/beginning of April.
Hours: Are generally 8-5 Mon-Fri. However, individual will be expected to
work weekends and evenings as needed. Reminder this work must be done
on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Application Developer position that we are looking for will be doing
Technical Development - 70% of the time and
Business Analytics (assuming this is Analysis not Analytics) - 30% of their
time.
We need someone who has working knowledge of all items listed under
"Technical Skills" as well as the ability to understand business problems
and communicate solutions to our Business partners.
The person in this position will be doing bug fixes to a program that
already exists. He/she will be expected to implement new features, and
provide production support. It is expected that the person hired for this

position will have the technical down and the only thing he/she will need
to learn is the Business side of the job.
