*Purpose & Scope: The Network Operations Manager contractor role will provide both technical and operational support for the IT Infrastructure in managing routine processes, meetings **and tasks, as well as provide oversight for the technical operations of the IT Outsource provider.* *Operational Manager oversees IT Infrastructure network processes and outsourced vendors Astellas Environment LAN – Cisco 3560, 37xx, and 6500 switches, F5 Load Balancers. LAN Wireless – Cisco 5500 controller and 3500 WAPS WAN – Cisco Routers (Verizon) and Riverbed WAN accelerators Security – Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS/IPS, and 3030 Concentrators for VPN Telephony – Cisco Call manager, Unit, call center and e911 Video Conferencing – In Conference room Polycom site to site systems. In Laptops the use of Cisco’s WebEx * *Responsibilities / Activities Network Access Conduct weekly operational meeting with Vendors and update meeting logs (Capgemini, Verizon, AT&T, AVI) Follow up any outstanding tasks Review log reports and open support tickets for medium and high findings provided by Capgemini. (Core switches, Load Balancers, WAN accelerators, Wireless Controller, VPN * *concentrator). Review network documentation to insure accuracy. Network Diagrams and procedures. Handle user request and issues as escalated.
