*Title:* *QA engineer* posted on 2013-06-26 14:52:30 *Job Description:*Job Title: QA Engineers Location: Waltham, MA Contract: 6 Months to a year contract Interview Process: one-time onsite (F2F) interview. Software QA Engineers/QA Automation Engineers Strong analytical and problem solving skills, teamwork and a great attitude are essential. Responsibilities Include Create test cases / test scripts for manual and automation testing based on user stories Execute test cases throughout QA lifecycle Create and execute automation scripts leveraging either vendor and open source automation tools Perform cross-browser testing using VMware Proactively identify defects and effectively communicate in writing and verbally with cross-functional team members Develop data-driven, black / white box, APIs, and UI test automation for web-based applications Identify project risks and make recommendations to reduce those risks *Job Requirements:* KEYS Selenium (other automated tools will work but they prefer selenium) Java EXCELLENT Communication Healthcare experience preferred but not required Requirements 3 - 7+ years experience of writing test plans, automating test cases and developing / implementing QA process and procedures including automation tool implementation Knowledge of QA methodology and industry standards Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent in dealing with ambiguity; ability to work well individually and as part of a team Experience developing and/or testing Windows Client, Java & Ruby on Rails based applications Experience with RDBMS - Oracle, MySQL, MS Sql Server: being able to understand the relationships across tables, as well as read and write SQL queries Experience with vendor and/or open source automation tools such as Selenium, Ranorex, QTP, WinRunner, SoapUI, etc...
