This includes Sun E25K Server Platforms, the Sun M8000 server platform as well as Sun M5000 and T4-4 servers. Support for server clusters via Veritas Cluster System and general knowledge of clustered environments is also required on E25K Server Platform, M8000 server platform, M5000 server platform and T4-4 server platform. In addition, the knowledge to work with the large enterprise customers for platform refresh and re-architecture is required. Experience and Skills: Individuals proposed to perform this task must possess the following minimum skills: At least 5 years experience as a computer professional configuring, installing, and supporting Unix servers, Solaris operating system and managing system resources At least 5 years experience with configuring, installing, updating and supporting (Veritas) Cluster software in Unix environments At least 5 years experience with configuring, testing, evaluating network needed to support cluster configurations At least 5 years experience with configuring, installing, updating and supporting Veritas Volume Manager including snapshot features At least 5 years experience with enterprise level Oracle/Sun hardware At least 5 years evaluating and deploying software tools in an enterprise production server environment Excellent project management skills in order to plan for upgrades to the cluster environment. Excellent problem management and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work cooperatively and to function well in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skill to be able to ascertain user requirements and prepare documentation. Excellent customer interface skills.
