Job Title : Business Analyst with OIL and GAS Location : Houston , TX Duration : 6+months (Possible Extension) *Job Description: * Collaborate and coordinate with customers, gathering and modeling business requirement /data, business processes, and other business rules in order to ensure alternatives have been carefully considered and proposed solution meets business objectives. Collects business information using interviews, document/report analysis, business process descriptions, requirements workshops, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or insights/viewpoints. Conducts root cause analysis on process inefficiencies and data quality issues Compiles high-level business stakeholder and user requirements and translates these into workflow and data requirements. Involved in testing, user training, and implementation of solutions Provide ongoing process support to project stakeholders. Provide timely updates on status, issues, and challenges Responsible for documenting, developing, finalizing, and presenting business and functional requirements. Apply the appropriate business analysis tools and methods as needed, in support of the study of proposed changes to the business processes. Knowledge of the processes, practices, and tools of IT service management disciplines: demonstrate familiarity of ITIL principles and practices.
