*Excel VBA Developer*** * * *Title: **Excel VBA Developer* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 6 Months +* * * * * *The general scope and duties of this individual will cover the following:* - Capture and document business rules from existing documentation and Excel spreadsheets - Review and validate documented business rules with Business and IT teams - Support IT teams in understanding of the Business rules as they are implemented in a new system - Support Business Verification / User Acceptance Testing teams in understanding of the Business rules as these are implemented into the new system - Conduct ad hoc analysis of data, algorithms and processes - Develop flowcharts, presentations, and business documentation of business processes, and calculations - Present and communicate findings and documentation *Specific Skills and Abilities:* * * The ideal candidate will have the following skills or abilities:** - Experience with Business Performance Measurements standards and processes (e.g. Benchmarking, Score Card, Dashboard etc.) - Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010 - Strong experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) 2007 required - Advanced experience with MS Word Mail Merge function - Must have a working knowledge of MS Office products including MS Visio - Some familiarity with Requisite Pro, ClearQuest is required (Requirements Management tool) - Strong analytical skill - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Experience collaborating in cross-functional project teams - Perform critical analysis and investigate key business issues - Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills - Experience with financial or statistical analysis, applications, and calculations - Good organization and planning skills - Customer Service focused, previous consulting experience a plus - Take-charge personality adept at making quick fact-based decisions - Ability to multi-task and drive solutions · Experience in interpreting business requirements into technical specifications, turning technical specifications into applications · Experience in Rapid application development (RAD) Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
