Project Summary The Service Manager reporting project will provide reporting and analytics for ITG management. It will integrate all 4 ticket types (Calls, Tasks, Changes, & Incidents) into a structure that will allow metric reporting overall. There will be metric tracking on SLA Compliance, Ticket Aging, Trending Open/Closed, Top CI based on ticket volume, Performance reporting, and Customer Based Reporting. Position Summary The ETL developer contract position for the service manager reporting project will develop the necessary IBM Infosphere / Data Stage processes to populate the data warehouse on a nightly basis with the service manager data. This effort will involve the design and development of the ETL processes, coding, unit testing, peer review and error resolution. This will include extracting data from a SQL Server data base, applying the required transformation logic and process management within IBM Infosphere / Data Stage, creating objects in the target Oracle database and loading the necessary data. Duties and Responsibilities · This position is responsible for delivering the ETL (IBM Infosphere / Data Stage jobs) for the service manager reporting project · Creating Oracle database objects within the data warehouse using PL/SQL · Using knowledge gained through prior experience to analyze extracted data in order to support reporting requirements. · Fully document all ETL processes personally delivered on the Service manager project. · Unit test all code and data including documenting test cases and results · Support ETL code and data base objects during the project effort Qualifications The successful candidate will have: · Minimum three years of experience building jobs in IBM DataStage · Minimum two years of experience with Infosphere Tools (Metadata Workbench, Business Glossary etc.) · Ability to read, write and maintain SQL code · Experience with SQL Server and Oracle Data bases · Knowledge of data warehousing architecture and data modeling concepts Additional desired attributes include: · Experience developing at an academic medical center or healthcare related organization preferred. · Experience with Cognos Framework Manager. · Experience with developing data models through tools such as ER Studio or ERWin · Two years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL coding and tuning.
