This means Operating System development to include Device Drivers (camera, audio, multi-media...etc). Candidates will also have Middleware development experience as well. - An immediate qualifying question is what "layer" candidates are developing on. In looking at the 7 Layer OSI Application model ( http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/OSI_Layers.asp), with Layer 7 being the Application, candidates need to be developing and have experience in Layer 2 and Layer 3. Please reference to link for a better understanding. If candidates don't know which layer they are developing on, they are not qualified. - Qualified candidates need to have Android Mobile experience and not just non-mobile device development experience.
