Candidates for the Web Infrastructure Analyst position will have a strong technical aptitude, experience with many different web and middleware technologies and programming/scripting knowledge to support key systems at Sallie Mae. Primary responsibilities involve daily support, maintenance, installation and configuration of Sallie Mae¿s web and middleware applications. The desired candidate will have experience with IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.0, .Net Framework, Java technologies (JBoss, WebLogic, etc.), Load Balancing and open systems scripting languages. Roles/Responsibilities: . Installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting of many of Sallie Mae¿s critical external and internal websites and systems. . Provide guidance to development teams to ensure compliance with Web Infrastructure policies, procedures and best practices. . Implement and support applications running on middleware technologies (JBoss, WebLogic, etc.). . Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation. . Management of SSL certificate renewal and replacement process. Minimum Requirements . 5+ years of experience working with, configuring and supporting IIS 6/7 and Apache. . 4+ years of experience with Middleware Java Technologies (JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat) - JBoss EAP 5/6 preferred. . .Net Framework 2.0/3.5/4.0 installation, configuration and support. . Experience providing on-call support for critical systems. . F5 BigIP LTM configuration experience a plus. . Ability to script using various tools (PowerShell, Perl, VB, batch, Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Unix Shell Scripting, WMI, etc. Regular Expressions a plus). . Participate in major incident triage calls to diagnose problems and restore service. .
