Note: Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder and able to pass a background check, drug screen, and thorough CREDIT CHECK. Looking for a strong Oracle developer to contribute in database applications development. Excellent coding and performance tuning skills adhering to established database development standards are critical to succeed in this role. The candidate must have sound communication skills, be able to comprehend business requirements, translate them into technical design specs and apply the same in the development process. We are seeking a highly motivated and responsive team player who is able to multi-task and work under minimal supervision. Responsible for the IT products supporting key enterprise functions. Primary Responsibilities · Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL. · Shell programming in Linux. · Create Technical specs, Unit test cases, Transition and Operational Documents. · Education and Experience · A Bachelor’s degree in computer science is highly desirable. · 5-7 years of database development experience, predominantly in Oracle. Experience in Oracle 11g RAC environment will be a definite advantage. · Knowledge of Microsoft .NET environment will be a big plus. · Skills and Knowledge · Proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL development. · Experience with a structured application development methodology, using any industry standard Software Development Lifecycle. Knowledge of Agile is a plus. · Ability to work with business users to clearly interpret business requirements into efficient code and communicate results. · A can do attitude and ability to work in a developing environment spanning multiple continents. · Excellent written and oral communication skills. · Excellent problem-solving skills.
