Kindly have a look below job description and do let me know your available consultant interest in this opportunity. *Title: Mainframe Storage Administrator *Level: L3 Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 6 Months Candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Mainframe as Storage Administrator. He should have experience on IBM DS8300, IBM VTS systems. Also He should have knowledge on ISV product installation and z/OS administrative tasks. · Maintain DASD and Tape storage. · Performed tasks such as Volume addition, initialization etc. · Capable of Performing DFSMS activities; Defining/modifying SMS constructs · Maintaining ACS routines · Monitoring storage utilization. · Monitor and Maintain data migration environment (HSM). · Perform Administration functions of tape management system. · Perform data backup and recovery tasks. · Provide reports on DASD and tape utilization. · Performed ISV products up gradation using SMP/E and non-SMP/E methods. · Knowledge on IBM DS8300, IBM VTS and standalone tape devices. · Performed up gradation and installation of ISV products such as MVS Quick ref, Sync sort, DASD Management system etc. · Knowledge on STK EXLM and HSC Powder horn. · Manage the physical tape library utilizing good business processes to ensure integrity and usability of the media. · Maintain an inventory control system to properly manage tapes for shipment to offsite or remote locations. *Let me know if needed any help from my end.
