Good comm skills a must.* *WebLogic, Linux/Unix administration and support experience required.* *Everything else is a "plus" skill - not required.* *Job Title:* Technical Consultant, WebLogic Admin *Special Background, Experience, or Education Desired: *Experience installing, configuring, supporting and troubleshooting multi-tier enterprise software. Experience architecting multi-tier environments including building hardware and software requirements. Experience with WebLogic (5+ years preferred) and Linux/UNIX is required. Experience supporting complex multi-tier applications such as Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle MDM/SGG, and Oracle NMS is desired. Experience monitoring applications with Microsoft SCOM and Oracle OEM is desired *Brief Description of Duties, Including Planned Special Projects: *Design, implement, and support 3rd party application environments. Duties include determining requirements, installing and configuring application software on servers, troubleshooting server software, and documenting application installation tasks. Must exhibit good customer service skills and be able to communicate with technical peers. Position requires the ability to use sound judgment in making decisions, complete projects on time and on budget, and adapt to multiple demands and changing priorities. Other duties include working with project teams.
