Role : ETL Developer Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 6+Months *SSIS is the most important skill. Informatica is still required but they need to be stronger with SSIS.* *RESPONSIBILITIES* · Perform solution design activities including requirements gathering, source data analysis, data integration design, logical and physical data modeling, ETL design & development, and data management design & development. · Meet with subject matter experts in different areas of the business, quickly learn the concepts and processes relevant to each line of business, and develop an understanding of how their data supports their business activities. · Work with solution architects and business analysts in translating solution requirements into state-of-the-art technical designs. · Develop and maintain logical/physical data models. · Adhere to and enforce software development methodology and standards, which include functional and technical designs, code reviews, unit & integration testing, source control and packaging of code. · Clearly document and communicate technical designs, solutions, and issues. *QUALIFICATIONS* *Education* · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field *Years of Experience* · 5 or more years of experience in with ETL Development using SSIS and Informatica *Required Skills* · Strong ability to extract or deduce requirements from interviews with business users · Extensive experience with relational databases · Experience in ETL Application Development using SSIS and Informatica · Understanding of entity relationship diagram conventions and various data modeling patterns (e.g. – dimensional model, 3rd normal form) · Strong analytical and problem solving skills – ability to work with large data sets and develop robust solutions to complex technical problems · Expertise in ETL performance tuning and SQL tuning · Experience with ETL techniques and concepts (e.g. – change data capture, slowly changing dimensions, managing exceptions, set based / bulk processing) · Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and relationship skills · Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong desire and aptitude to learn new technologies and skills -- *ReshmaSr Technical Recruiter IVY Tech Solutions Inc3403 N Kennicott Avenue, Suite B&C ArlingtonHeights, IL Phone: 847-387-8787 | Fax: 847 305 4382res...@ivytechsol.us <res...@ivytechsol.us> | www.ivytechsol.com <http://www.ivytechsol.com>Yahoo IM: reshma_ivyGtalk : reshma.ivy* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
