We are hiring a developer who will collaborate with end-users, project teams, management, and external working groups to develop and support applications. If selected, you will work throughout the lifecycle participating in requirements and design sessions to development, testing and support of the application. Role: · Interact with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions based on Java EE & Groovy in a Service Oriented environment. · Design and implement the development environment (build, test and deploy) including handling load balancers and proper app server configuration for high availability. · Build data connections on top of an ORM framework along with heavy Oracle-based stored procedure design and development, advanced SQL scripting for utilization & modification, and logical data queries with error handling. · Ensure proper version control and disciplined change management documentation. · Ensure application complies with important regulatory initiatives. · Support applications already in the production environment. *Qualifications* We are building a new architecture using Groovy on the Java platform and making heavy use of Ext-JS / Sencha Architect for the GUI drawing from Java-based logic and Oracle databases. You will need significant expertise in these technologies along with the following: · REST Services (using JSON). · Oracle 11g · ORM (Spring-JDBC, QueryDSL, iBatis, or Hibernate). · MVN repository and SVN. · Object oriented design patterns. · Experience using various Business Analyst tools & techniques (we use UML). · JMS · Enterprise Service Bus / Enterprise Integration Patterns (nice to have). · Windows Active Directory integration experience (nice to have).
