We are looking for a Cognos Architect. This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. Job Requirements Responsibilities: Lead medium to large size BI projects (Mobile & Desktop) with limited direction, Demonstrate strong technical knowledge, and handle complex problems Model Framework Manager, develop Cognos BI reports and queries using Report Studio and Active reports, customization would be a plus Perform detailed data analysis and troubleshoot report performance issues through understanding of Cognos, Database queries and extract, transform and load (ETL) routines Must be expert in developing Cognos reports using Active reports, Report studio and creating dimensional model using Cognos Framework Manager Must have SQL experience in building and analyzing queries in Oracle database . Writing SQL from scratch Must possess a proven track record on business intelligence project delivery and demonstrate exceptional business acumen, strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Basic Qualifications: 10 + years of experience applying systems solutions to business problems 8+ years of experience implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions preferably using Cognos Good exposure to Mobile BI capabilities preferably using Cognos Mobile Knowledge of TM1 is a strong plus.
