 Position: Lead Support Specialist

Position Responsibilities:
•           Should have experience handle Level 2 Production Support and
hands on Experience on Oracle Application Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
•           Must have 5-7years of hands-on experience on Oracle EBS in
Support type or implementation of projects.
•           Able to lead and guide a team of support specialist.
•           Accountable for the management and communication of all
incident tickets to relevant personnel and Affiliates to provide efficient,
timely and effective remedies to issues and requirements, ensuring that
business disruption is minimized.
•           Acting as first point of escalation when SLE’s are not met.
•           Allocating work, managing resources, defining performance
levels, and managing performance.
•           Serves as Liaison between the Service Desk and the project
team, focused on the current solution and that is functions as designed.
•           Assist users with problems and provide resolution to issues
independently.
•           Provide Root Cause Analysis, recommended resolution and
communicate to Level 3 Production Support to resolve issues.
•           Functional Knowledge on at least three core modules of Oracle
E-Business Suite E12.
•           Experience in opening, managing, and resolving Oracle SRs with
Oracle Support


Requirements
•           Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
•           5 years IT related experience.
•           5 to 7 years of Oracle application experience with various
modules in Oracle E-Business Suite R12
•           Fluent in English
•           Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical
thinking, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
•           Working knowledge of software development and support
methodologies.
•           Understand various essential business functions of an
organization.
•           Understanding of functional concepts & flow of Oracle
Application Modules.
•           Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
with minimal supervision
•           Ability to handle demanding work situations with multiple
priorities.
•           Ability to interface with business users independently.
•           Applicants must be willing to work in Ada, Michigan, United
States of America.
•           Experience in using BMC Remedy ticketing tool will be value
added.
 Preferred Qualifications and Skills

•           Oracle certification is a plus.
•           Working knowledge of software development and support
methodologies
•           Knowledge and familiarity in underlying Oracle ERP applications
database architecture, as well as Oracle database and development tools
(PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports)
