*Job Description*
The Infrastructure Engineering and Support team is working on many
initiatives to enhance our capability to deliver secure, scalable and highly
resilient JEE Infrastructure. Major initiatives in this space include:
Enhancement of Business critical application stability and performance
through Capacity and Reliability improvements, monitoring enhancements,
application infrastructure re-architecture, Server Hardware re-platforming
and exploration of viable JEE products/technologies like JBOSS, Java
Enterprise Servers, JCAPS, WebLogic Portal, AquaLogic and SOA.
This team requires a resource that can primarily work with JEE Engineering
and Operations team in planning, architecture, engineering and implementing
the above mentioned initiatives with specific focus on: Standardization,
Security, Automation, Product Evaluations, Best Practices, Infrastructure
performance and capacity management etc. The resource would also bring in
the much required experience on J2EE application servers, ESB, Portal, and
SOA based products; help us in making informed decision and developing
evaluation, testing and deployment strategy for the new
products/technologies.**

*Key Activities *As a senior JEE resource candidate
will have following responsibilities

· Work on the architecture, design, implementation,
deployment, and support of
the JEE Infrastructure – WebLogic application server and tomcat
· Evaluate, conduct POC and implement new JEE
products/technologies - JES,JBOSS,
JCAPS etc
· Work with platform, operations and applications team
to implement JEE
infrastructure standards, best practices and guidelines
· Provide technical leadership and mentoring, promoting
adherence to
standardized IT processes, ITIL, strategic principles and architectural
standards
