Additional duties will include SQL performance tuning and database design/modelling. Minimum: 4 year degree plus 10+ Years in a Database Application Developer and/or Database Administrator roles Ability to design and implement fault tolerant and load balanced systems with standby database and hardware redundancy Experience with both logical and physical standby databases Experience in application development with PL/SQL Proven skills in UNIX shell scripting (korn shell) Proven skills in Perl scripting Proven experience in Oracle 10g on Sun Solaris Operating on Sun Hardware with a very good understanding of related Oracle tools, Oracle Enterprise Manager etc. SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning experience Proven skills in supporting large size databases, includes experience with data encryption and data scrubbing Experience in leading the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards Ability to provide the identification and resolution of highly complex database issues Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic team environments Financial industry experience Additional Preferred skills: Data Modelling IBM MQ Series Java development experience (Java/J2EE) WebLogic 8.x/9.x/10.x experience Hibernate experience Proven skills in version control and release management using tools like Clearcase Interscope Share this opportunity!!!!
