Here is the job description: Title: SAP Basis Administrator Location: St Louis, MO Duration: 6 Months *Must Be Local* Description: Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the SAP Basis Database Administrator include: • Installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP systems. • Provide database services and consulting to the design and implementation teams and sap support team • Analyze, develop and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP • SAP performance and tuning • Oracle database backup and recovery administration • Evaluation and design of interfaces between SAP R/3 and external systems • Maintenance of the SAP Data Dictionary and Oracle database objects • Migration of SAP application programs and data dictionary objects into production • Cutover implementation support • BASIS configuration administration • Provide emergency support 7 days x 24 hours for SAP Basis. Required Skills: This position requires 5+ years of experience in relational and/or hierarchical database technologies, in-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts, broad knowledge of integrated application development methodology, and client/server technology. Knowledge in UNIX, Oracle and SQL are also required. Experience in SAP Basis, NETWEAVER and ABAP/4 are preferred. BS in Information Systems or equivalent experience is required. An applicant should poses good written and oral communication skills, excellent problem resolution skills, must like working in a team environment and have good interpersonal skills.
