Job Profile: Systems Administrator

Location    :   Austin, TX
Duration    :  9 months

Start Date:     ASAP

Rate         : DOE

Skills Required: Experience with wireless messaging (BES), telephony,
business continuity/disaster recovery, and Software-as-a-Service
(SaaS), SMTP, DNS, SaaS

Skills Preferred: ITIL V3 Certification, Microsoft Windows/Exchange
certification a plus.

Job Description:

**Support Engineer with at least 2 years experience with systems
administration in medium to large size enterprise environment.
Demonstrated real-world experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active
Directory, and other Microsoft technologies is required. Experience
with wireless messaging (BES), telephony, business continuity/disaster
recovery, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment are highly
valued. Must be able to work in a dynamic customer support environment
and deliver superior customer service.
**Responsibilities:
• Field incoming calls and emails from external customers
• Resolve technical issues based on documented support procedures
• Log and track incidents using support tools events
• Identify opportunity to grow the customer relationship

Experience/Requirements:
• Two or more years experience with support of medium/large enterprise
IT environment including Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, and
Active Directory
• One or more years experience with phone-based customer support
• Working knowledge of SMTP, DNS, wireless messaging (Blackberry BES),
and Microsoft Outlook client/server interoperability.
• Working knowledge of anti-virus and anti-spam filtering solutions.
• Working knowledge of security issues surrounding network computing.
• Experience with one of more of the following preferred: telephony,
business continuity/disaster recovery, and Software-as-a-Service
(SaaS).
• Experience with IT Service Management framework (ITIL v3) preferred.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work diplomatically and effectively with customers at all
levels of the organization.
**Education:
• College degree or equivalent industry experience.

• Microsoft Windows/Exchange certification a plus.
