*Title: Oracle Apps DBA* *Purpose/Project: ERP Assignment* *Duration: 12 Months* *location: Raleigh ,NC* *Title*: *Applications Database Administrator* *Job Description*: The Applications Database Administrator is responsible for all functions associated with the efficient design, implementation and maintenance of Oracle databases. The primary roles and responsibilities include the operational support and monitoring of an extremely large PeopleSoft/Oracle layout using OEM GRID control. This role also includes planning for and overseeing the integration of consistent database administration methodologies and documentation on a department-wide basis and for providing support to all IT development staff in managing their solutions. The Applications Database Administrator is responsible for administering the organization's OEM GRID application to manage their environments on a NetApp storage solution. The Applications Database Administrator must have strong Oracle Database experience with depth in Linux scripting, GRID configuration, GRID monitoring, GRID configuration management, and GRID security. This position will be primarily focused on configuring GRID/OEM for monitoring and maintaining the ~200 enterprise environments. Automation will require knowledge of Linux, NetApp, NFS, Oracle, and People Soft.
