Please check the below requirement and advise us the right consultant's along with Rate, Availability, Contact Details, Current Location & Visa Status. .Net Technical Lead Des Moines, IA Rate: 50/hr. - contract to hire ( Can go higher for the right candidate) Duration: 6 month Contract to Hire Start Date: ASAP Skills: * Strong C#.NET & ASP.NET * .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.5 * Technical Documentation and Design Creation/Review * Mentoring; Performing Code Reviews; Technical Estimate Creation * SQL Server 2005 (including stored procedure creation) * Segment code so that multiple developers can code on the same application simultaneously * Manage code merging/branching processes * SQL Server Reporting Services * SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) * Visual Basic 6 Healthcare / Health Insurance Preferred The following roles and responsibilities apply to the IT Tech Lead role * Conduct periodic code reviews on Projects and Application Change Requests (ACRs) * Mentor developers on technologies (new and existing) as needed * Complete technical documentation required for architectural reviews * Attend all applicable architectural reviews * Work with the Architect and the developers to create the design * Create or assign tech spec creation to appropriate developers * Responsible for verification that proper application technical documentation exists and is up to date for the projects/applications assigned. * Work in conjunction with PMs to assign project level tasks to the developers * Verify developers are meeting project time frames for assigned tasks * Manage code branching and merging * Understand the applications from a process flow perspective and work with the development team to document when non-existent. * Keep technical delivery team leader apprised of slipping dates, new project risks, and provide feedback on technical resources. * Assist development team in creating high level estimates (HLE). * Tech Lead will ensure each HLE is reviewed by the technical delivery team leader prior to releasing to the PM.
