Need Local to NY & NJ area In-Person Required QA Automation Tester 6 months Location- Brooklyn, NY Description: Our client a HOT, well known website is looking for a QA Analyst to join a team of eight (8) in NY and Texas. The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of experience working in a web based environment. Also, the ideal candidate MUST HAVE strong automated testing skills and have tested web based applications during their full life cycles; from inception, design, to release. Candidate will also need to have experience with Website Testing, working on multiple releases in parallel, and have work on short release times and tight deadlines. Skills: . 3+ years of experience in testing web-based applications. . 4+ years of experience in writing detailed functional test plans, test scripts, creating test data, test execution, and creating defects. . Extensive experience in the use of defect tracking software. . Experience in database-level testing through the use of SQL data manipulation language. . Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle in relation to software quality standards . Experience in participating in functional /design requirement reviews . Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks . Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project managers and business stakeholders. . 1+ years of experience with Automated and Performance Testing Toolsets (Test Complete Preferred). . Candidate must have heavy automation skills. .
