Job Description
Provide leadership and manage the relationship with key customers
Track and monitor the open issues
Pro-actively manage the issues and highlight gaps
Develop and integrate diverse and different strategies, technologies, and
business processes into one strategic solution for the company
Develop design and specification of the system
Liaise with key internal customers
Lead key internal customers in defining requirements & provide solutions to
the business issues
Prepares documentation of business and system issues and proposed
resolutions
Independently formulates and defines scope of new requirements from the
business community
Responsible for progress / quality control and development direction
Advocates productive application of leading edge technologies as it relates
to the business
Communicate and collaborate thoroughly to other IT colleagues about projects
and issues
Extensive experience with requirements gathering, working on proprietary and
packaged software, Strong understanding of project management tools and
ability to clearly document code
Requirements:
Functional knowledge of the following: GAAP, G/L, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting,
Fixed Assets and consolidations
Configuration experience in the following modules - G/L, A/R, A/P,
Cost Accounting
& COPA
Experience and training in implementing SAP Financial modules
Ability to identify, champion and manage improvements to financial processes
(best practices)
The individual should have a demonstrated track record of hands on
experience in managing and implementing ERP solutions
Experience in manufacturing and financial systems is a requirement for the
position
This position requires soliciting and analyzing business requirements from
the internal customers
