Here is the job description: Title: Oracle DBA Location: Lawrence, KS Duration: 5 months+ *US Citizen or Green Card Required* Provide support services for Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), specifically Oracle Database, and related utilities and tools. Application Support Services for Projects: - Oracle Database and Application Design and Usage Consultation (including preparation of Basis of Estimates and participation in project team meetings) - Application Oracle DBA Work - Data Loads Change and Configuration Management: - Application Storage Allocation - Creation of database internal data structures - Migration of Databases into Production - Sizing of Databases, Tablespaces, Segments and Partitions Security/System Administration Monitoring/Tuning for Performance and Availability Backup and Recovery Services Definition and Documentation of Standards/Processes Required Skills: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 3 years Oracle DBA experience required (5 years preferred).
