IT Gurus Inc, is currently seeking candidates/consultants for *“Sr. Product Development Engineer” *position based in *Austin, TX for about 12 months duration.* Please go through the job description, and revert back your updated resume in *WORD FORMAT* at *saty...@itgurus.com* at the earliest to proceed further. *Seeking only Local Candidate’s who are based in and around * *AUSTIN**, **TX*** ------------------------------ *Position Title: Sr. Product Development Engineer(C++, Perl)* *Location: **Austin**, **TX*** *Duration: 12 Months ** *** *Rate: **$40/hr** (1099 / Corp – Corp All inclusive)* *Start Date: ASAP* ------------------------------ *Project Description: * Employees in this group design and implement mobile technology used in notebook computers, phones, and ultra-mobile PCs *Daily Responsibilities:* - Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturing of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. - Following are examples of activities in which Product Development Engineers make significant contributions: - Design, development and validation of testability circuits. - Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. - Development and debug of complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. - Development and debug of test patterns for Cache arrays, structural patterns for scan based design and functional (AV) patterns for component debug, validation and production test. - Design and debug of validation and production test hardware solutions. - Integrated Circuit (IC) debug, validation and redesign to guarantee component margin to spec. - Analysis of component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. - Analysis of early customer returns with emphasis on test hole closure activities. Optimization of component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. *Necessary Skills (Must Have):* - Minimum BS with 4+ years of applicable experience, or a Master of Science degree with at least three years of applicable experience. *Experience with C/C++ is a must* - Proficiency in the use of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and lab test equipment to test and characterize integrated circuits - Strong technical background in both test software development and test fundamentals - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in design of ATE hardware to meet test goals - Experience with Advantest T2000 platform would be an added advantage - Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) methodologies and how to apply them to achieve testability goals would be an added advantage *Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):* - PERL experience would be an added advantage *Please furnish below information:*** Candidates Full Name: Current Location: Willing to Relocate (If required): Face to Face Interview (If required): Contact Number: Alternative Contact Number: Email Id: Specialized skills: Total Experience: __ Yrs __ Months.
