Title: Oracle Finance Business Analyst Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: Long term *IT Finance Business Analyst* The financial functional lead serves as a liaison between the technical staff and business user community, with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Works with users to identify and specifycomplex business requirements, then calls upon a deep knowledge of Oracle EBS to deliver application design, module configuration/setup,acceptance testing, and End-User training. *Key responsibilities* Ø Complete technical architecture design, logical design and technology strategy Ø Work as a business partner with client users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions Ø Translate challenging business requirements into solutions leveraging standard Oracle functionality in the most current releases of Oracle EBS Ø Perform configuration and setups Ø Ensure deliverables are tracked and delivered to the project schedule Ø Mentor in-house technical resources on Oracle EBS system Ø Lead business process evaluations, requirements-gathering, system analysis and design activities Ø Collaborate on design decisions on business solutions and processes on Oracle EBS Ø Engage multiple stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout of business solutions Ø Work with external consultants to ensure quality deliverables that meet standards Ø Act as Oracle Financials EBS Subject Matter Expert Ø Work closely with application development managers and integration resources to build integrated solutions Ø Monitor production to identify candidates for long term application improvements Ø Perform other duties as assigned or necessary *Qualifications:* · EBS expertise must have: OM, Inventory, Pricing and Discounting, AR, · Financial business background strongly preferred · A deep understanding of Quoteto Cash, Reconciliation and General Accounting processes. · Must have experience implementing custom solutions that are integrated with Oracle EBS, specifically involving order, fulfillment, billing, returns and third party systems · Proficiency in PL/SQL is required · Familiar with SDLC and required deliverables for each phase · Experience with Informaticaor Aria a plus Ø *Experience working in complex integrated systems with both upstream and downstream dependencies is desirable Ø Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Ø *Professional Skills*: Ø Proven history of successful problem solving with strong sense of ownership and urgency Ø Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills Ø Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills Ø Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT staff and various levels of management *Let me know if needed any help from my end.
