Manager's Note: BA consultant for Asia Sites and Framework project
with experience with Order Mgmt System (OMS).  Ideally, this person
would be familiar with IBM Sterling Commerce OMS but at a minimum,
have some exposure and experience with any OMS application.  We would
like to get this person started no later than the beginning of January
if possible.

Position Title:  Sr. Business Analyst Consultant
Reports to:  Project Manager, eCommerce
Location:  Home Office – New Albany, OH

Description:
The senior business analyst consultant will work within the A&F IT and
business community to ensure systems meet the known and unknown
business requirements of the user community with emphasis on optimal
business processes in eCommerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) in Asia.
The senior business analyst consultant will support the rollout of
localized sites to 6 Asian countries over the next year.  He/she will
coordinate and lead requirements discovery sessions and project team
meetings, analyze IT and business processes, as well as design and
implement improvements.  He/she will gather, organize, document and
manage eCommerce solution requirement and assist in the development of
test cases and scenarios to validate the functionality meets
requirements.  He/she will also be responsible for delivering related
project documentation including functional requirements, use cases,
business cases, performance metrics, and user acceptance test plans.
The senior business analyst consultant must be comfortable working in
a fast-paced and demanding environment, able to multi-task across
several projects simultaneously, and possess strong interpersonal
communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with
technical and non-technical resources alike across international time
zones.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead user discovery sessions and project team meetings
to gather and organize project business requirements and use cases on
assigned projects
Analyze and document IT and business processes and design improvements
that reduce expense and increase customer satisfaction through
improvements in quality, efficiency, and communication
Document eCommerce solution requirements, design and UX experience, as
well as system integration into back end systems through ESB, ETL, and
web services
Assist in refining Product Backlog and document acceptance criteria;
contribute to creation of epics and assist in breaking them down to
user stories
Contribute to issue identification, tracking & resolution; Assist
Project Manager with administrative tasks, as needed
Identify innovative solutions to improve cross-functional processes
and operational efficiency
Design, coordinate, and execute application functional tests to ensure
fulfillment of business requirements and IT quality, architectural,
and security standards
Work closely with the quality assurance team on the correct testing
methodology/tools/reporting, focusing on requirements and user test
methodology
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or
related field (required)
5+  years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a minimum
2 years in a retail environment
Strong Business Analyst skills – experience with process modeling, use
case development and detailed requirements documentation, with an
expertise in IT systems development lifecycle
At least 2 years experience on either the Functional/Business and/or
Technical side in eCommerce is required to be able to quickly
understand and assess the business processes and requirements
Experience with Asia Pacific eCommerce sites and proficiency in
speaking Mandarin Chinese, Korean and/or Japanese is a plus
Ability to lead business and IT associates with strong interpersonal
skills, including collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and
negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate
cross-cultural communications between and among highly experienced
business and IT associates
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to breakdown and
effectively communicate complex business and technical processes,
problems, and issues
Excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of multi-tasking
across several projects
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short term
perspectives of situations
