*Job Title: SQL Server DBALocation: Little Rock, ARDuration: 4 monthsDirect Client Position* Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience migrating Legacy DB to SQL Server 6+ years’ experience with SQL Server Database Administration (2000/2005/2008 R2 and/or 2012). Experience in migration of SQL Server 2000 to 2008R2 and 2012 environment. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems including performance, integrity, blocking and deadlocking and security issues. Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. Design and develop data models and database architecture. Develop and enhance stored procedures, triggers, functions, views and other database objects. Create SSIS packages to load, transform and process data. Develop scripts to automate administration and management of the environment. Resolve database production issues, code troubleshooting. Database tuning and monitoring. Create technical specifications and support documentation. Able to work in a fast changing environment. Research and introduce new database technologies. Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics. Experience with SQL Integration Services in order to manage/maintain data warehouse technologies including ETL process. Knowledge in creating report using Crystal Reports and SSRS. Job Responsibilities: Performs the following activities: requirements gathering, definition, development, testing and implementation.
