Job Title: Business Analyst (*Key skills: HR/Payroll and Finance --
PeopleSoft/ Workday)*
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 12+ Months

The Workday Business Analyst for HR/Payroll and Finance is responsible for
understanding and documenting the complete Workday HR/Payroll process.  To
reach that state, the Workday Business Analyst will elicit requirements,
perform analysis, and communicate information appropriately to the Workday
Core Team, and also to the Workday Organizational Change Management Team.
This position will work in fairly equal parts with each of those teams.
The Organizational Change Management Team is responsible for maximizing
user adoption of the new system within user community through
communication, training, documentation, and cultural change.
This position will also perform other duties as assigned.  Later in the
project lifecycle, this position will take a larger role in system testing,
as assigned by the Workday HCM Lead.   There will be opportunities for
ambitious individuals in this role to serve in wide range of capacities on
multiple teams.

Basic Qualifications
*         3+ years of business process reengineering experience or similar
work
*         Strong business analyst experience is a MUST.  This includes a
demonstrated full range of business analyst activities (requirements
elicitation, analysis, testing, documentation, etc.)

**         Experience with Workday or PeopleSoft is a MUST*
Experience with financial processes and/or systems is a MUST.*
*         Experience with HR/Payroll systems is a plus
*         Experience working on large-scale projects, with strong
references.
*         Understanding of the Workday project methodology is a strong plus
*         Experience with higher education is a plus
*         Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both
technical and functional audiences
*         Experience with testing, including definition and execution of
test plans and scenarios

Duties and Responsibilities
*         Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user
needs/requirements
*         Document current and future state of HR/Payroll and Finance
processes
*         Participate as a team member to achieve successful business
process reengineering.
*         Act as a liaison to the Organizational Change Management Team to
communicate change management implications of Workday Core Team discussions
and decisions.
*         Work independently with great team spirit
*         Take full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks
*         Communicate appropriately with varying levels of stakeholders,
internal staff, and external staff
*         Communicate status accurately to management and teams
*         Work with internal teams and with Workday vendor team to properly
configure Workday HCM and Workday Finance
