Job Title: SCCM Engineer Location: Boston, MA 02116 Contract/Project Length: One year contract; project on-going Hours per Week: 40 Enterprise Desktop Application Engineer Key Characteristics: This role is accountable to ensure the effective deployment and support of desktop solutions. Partners with IT Operations to ensure successful leading, managing and alignment of the day to day operations of desktop solutions including, but not limited to, SCCM management, windows desktop OS imaging, software package creation, and deployment and antivirus-malware distribution. Performs design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs in support of business units. Supports the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. · Maintains software installation packages via SCCM including image creation, testing and deployment. · Supports day to day operations of desktop systems, remote access and application distribution systems including application installation and upgrades. · Deploys OS installations and upgrades supporting automation for OS and application patches to the PC network by creating scripts and programs to perform specific tasks. · Independently manages and oversees the timely and accurate distribution of anti-virus/anti-malware packages for all company PCs, including the alignment with network operations. · Serves as escalation resource and trainer for service delivery support team on both existing applications and newly deployed desktop applications. · Conducts full testing of emerging technologies assuring compatibility with our existing IT environment. Education and Experience Required: · Bachelor's Degree , or equivalent combination of education and experience · 5+ years related experience including expert desktop tools experience with proven ability to implement and support new systems. · Expert knowledge of SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Manager) and competency with Microsoft tools ex. WSUS, AD, group policies, scripting, etc. · Advanced experience with Windows based OS including installation, system administration and troubleshooting · Experience with migrating a major upgrade to newest Windows based OS · Self starter and willing to take on new challenges with resources at hand · Excellent customer service skills and strong troubleshooting skills · Strong time management skills Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
