Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires 5 years or more of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Support for maintenance and development for two systems that are coded in PowerBuilder. The current version we are using is PB 12.5. Must have recent experience with at least version 10 or above. These systems are production DHS case management systems that are both on PowerBuilder 12.5 and Sybase Adaptive Server 15.5. The work to be completed by the contractor will include legislatively mandated or internally prioritized system modification work. As tasks are completed, the contractor will address the highest priority backlogged work that may address immediate field services (end user) or policy-driven needs. The contractor will perform the following functions: Gather customer requirements Work effort sizing Write systems specifications (**the specifications may be handed down to other programmer/analyst staff to complete development) Powerbuilder 12.5 Development to existing systems The contractor shall adhere to architecture, design, and development standards within the current Oregon ACCESS (Oregon Automated Computer Capture and Storage System) and TRACS (Transition Referral and Client Self-sufficiency) system frameworks. The contractor shall follow Oregon ACCESS and TRACS software development lifecycle and release management practices as defined by the Oregon ACCESS and TRACS process and procedures. The contractor shall provide documentation for all work design and development work. All deliverables shall be submitted for QA review by the Oregon ACCESS lead analyst.
