Must be able to translate applications requirements into reusable objects / classes and class libraries. Must help build the application framework and define standards for the rest of the team to utilize to build out the application. Implement web-based solutions using available technology. Must be able to apply emerging technologies to the software development process as and when available and possible. *POSITION 2* Title: Technical Project Lead Location: Newark, DE Length: 12+ months Industry: Financial KEY EXPERIENCE: MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER. *Education*: M.S. degree or 6 years of equivalent experience in a related field. *General Experience*: 12 years of computer experience in developing state-of-the-art mission critical web based applications with imaging capabilities preferably in the financial business areas. *Specialized Experience*: Must have been in a hands-on Technical Project Lead (NOT a PM) role in the last 2-3 years. At least 10+ years of experience developing applications using advanced web-based technologies and SOA architecture. *Technologies include*: Java/J2EE, AIX, IBM Websphere, IBM Process Server, Tibco EMS, iLog Rules engines, Design Patterns, UML/OOP, familiarity with Oracle and SQL *Key Duties and Responsibilities*: - Must be able to participate and at times lead in design/architect solution discussions and finalization to that meet the core application requirements - Must be able to set the direction towards building overall application framework - Must have past experience and must be able to help identify and create reusable components - Must help define standards for the rest of the team to utilize to build out the application framework and rest of components - Help investigate technology where appropriate - Must be able to apply emerging technologies to the software development process as and when available and possible *Requisite Prior Exposure to*: - Must have prior SDLC lifecycle experience - Must have prior experience working in a structured but very fast-paced environment - Must have excellent communication skills - Must have worked in a multi-functional and geographically distributed team environment *POSITION 3* Title: Production Support Lead Location: Newark, DE Length: 12+ months Industry: Financial *KEY EXPERIENCE: MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER.* This candidate should be a technical lead with excellent communication skills and a development background in J2EE/ weblogic /Oracle/ Unix ( all must ) technologies Need someone who has been a HANDS ON Development lead/ architect and risen to a TECHNICAL LEAD ( PS : Not necessary a project lead ). This position will NOT BE require coding but Thorough understanding of coding and development backgrounds in the above technologies with a lot of people interaction. ITIL framework as we strictly follow it for the service we provide FMS. Key elements of this framework include: Incident management - logging incidents in a tracking system, prioritizing them and resolving them against an SLA. Problem management - resolving recurring incidents permanently and performing break fix. Capacity planning - ensuring there is sufficient storage and CPU capacity to support transactional growth on the systems. Business Continuity planning - preparing the application failover scripts to the COB site, executing the Disaster Recovery exercises. Configuration management - tracking the versions of key system artifacts (architecture docs, design docs, unit test plans) and source code in version control software (e.g. ClearCase). Change Management - submitting change requests, documenting the impact and benefits, getting them approved by a change control board and managing the implementation.
