· Manufacturing Equipment Engineer Individual tasked with the
design, construction, and verification of equipment used for the production
of medical devises through the use of appropriate levels of automation and
tooling design.
· Position includes design of new equipment, integration of whole
production lines, and improvement/ maintenance of existing fixtures.
· The position will cover all phases of equipment development
ranging from conceptual design, process development, testing, and
implementation.
· Tasks associated with equipment development will include
mechanical design, electrical design and controls programming, guiding
assembly technicians, interaction with outside vendors and suppliers, etc.
· BS in engineering or science related field plus minimum of 5 years
experience or equivalent.
· Educational requirement ensures that candidate has requisite
capabilities in communication (written and verbal), technical proficiencies,
and ability for self-direction and organization.
· The scope of this position includes conceptualizing, designing,
and implementing appropriate automation and tooling for use in the
production of medical devices.
· Senior level equipment engineer will be expected to effectively
participate in and lead activities such as: brainstorming, documentation and
design history tracking, ECN and other Document Control requirements,
Training of technicians and equipment operators, etc.
1. individual will be responsible for designing and implementing custom
equipment for use in the manufacture of medical devices.
2. A strong background in mechanical and electrical disciplines is required,
along with experience coordinating projects/ project management.
3. Individual must have fluency in CAD software, along with skills in
process development, design for manufacture, materials, machining
techniques, PLC programming mechatronics, and equipment testing.
4. Documentation and project planning are critical to successful project
outcome, including
