*Business Systems Analyst*
*Location: Memphis, TN*

*Duration: Approximately 6 months (possibly Summer 2010)*

*Rate: $30-34/hr*

The Business Analyst provides the critical link between the business and
technology sides of the organization by effectively discerning and analyzing
the true needs of business users; developing and modeling detailed steps
that most effectively and efficiently solve business problems, and
communicating these solutions to technology staff.
As a critical and central contributor to the Web Delivery team, the Business
Systems Analyst would assume the following responsibilities:

·                     Consults with business end users to determine system
functional specifications

·                     Facilitates communications between the business unit
and IT

·                     Consults with users and clients on systems
issues/problems and recommends solutions

·                     Assists in prioritizing features based on business
need and scope.

·                     Automates processes; assists in redesigning business
processes; assists in documenting new technology; translates business
requirements into technical solutions

·                     Maintains an understanding of application
functionality and technical architecture.

·                     Provides internal user and operational support of
application to business users and IT

·                     Participates in design meetings with developers to
scope out implementation of features.

·                     Identifies systems problems through user acceptance
testing and identifies solutions

·                     Work with QA to determine high-level functional test
cases; perform manual testing on an as-needed basis.

·                     Ensure documentation is updated as new features /
process are changed or added; review all documentation.

·                     Maintain working knowledge of other products and teams
to identify and define cross product integration opportunities and plans.



*Qualifications Requirements*

·                     Understanding of the software development cycle (SDLC)
and the various groups involved is required.

·                     Strong organizational abilities and attention to
detail are required.

·                     Must have proven successful experience managing tasks
and delivering on time.

·                     Proven experience designing practical and meaningful
milestones.

·                     Working knowledge of networks, system architecture,
databases, development, programming language, and environments is helpful.
Experience with projects involving web design and/or usability also helpful.

·                     Strong business skills and ability to quickly
understand business processes. Ability to apply troubleshooting and
analytical skills when resolving problems.

·                     Experience with Website design and or usability
preferred.

·                     Interviewing skills to include the ability to talk
with individuals, users, and groups about their needs and ask the right
questions to surface essential requirement information.

·                     Analytical skills to include the ability to
critically, judiciously, and quickly evaluate information gathered from
multiple sources, reconcile conflicting input, decompose high-level
information into details, abstract low-level information to a more general
level, distinguish presented user requests from the true underlying needs,
and distinguish solution ideas from actual requirements.

·                     Facilitation skills include the ability to lead
requirements elicitation meetings and workshops.

·                     Knowledge of banking industry is a plus.

·                     Technical proficiency in desktop software including MS
Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, & Visio.  Experience with Axure & Mercury
Quality Center a plus.

·                     Must have skills include software requirements
gathering, wire frame creation, use case creation, test script and plan
development, some project management, as well as SDLC and Agile experience.

·                     Required individual characteristics:

both written and oral.

o                                            Team-oriented; ability to work
effectively with a wide range of people and roles.
