Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Desired Skills: Minimum 5-7 Years of IT experience is necessary. Proven experience with managing large IT projects utilizing Project Management Skills and Microsoft Project. (PMP Cert. is a plus) Hands on and recent Active Directory configuration and administration for minimum 3 years. Mandatory Windows 7 Desktop and Windows 2008 Server experience for minimum 3 years. Solid Experience with system administration and management of Enterprise Software Applications. Experience with Linux, CISCO Routers/Switches, McAfee Suite, Proxies, Firewalls and VPN. Ability to manage, create and distribute images using Ghost and Acronis. Must have solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Project and Visio Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.. Strong security awareness and focus; knowledge of security policies, principles, D/R and Backups. Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle critical situations in a 24x7 environment. Experience with Public Safety Security & Police Systems is preferred. Job Description The Consultant shall be responsible for providing technical support and project management for all systems used and implemented by the agency including mission-critical applications such as Tiburon, Intergraph & Lenel. The consultant shall utilize existing tools provided by the agency to support these systems. The systems are based on Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Juniper, Checkpoint and Cisco network and security devices. The desktop systems include Windows XP and Windows 7. The position will primarily be located in Midtown Manhattan but the consultants may be required to report to other locations within the agency region for special projects so occasional travel throughout the Region will be required. The hours are flexible including 8 hours of work and 1 hour for lunch. Furthermore, respondents should be aware that the agency operates 24x7 and may require consultants to be available occasionally to work extra hours or off hours.
