Role: Project Manager/Operations Business Analyst – Eagle STAR Implementation Duration: 12 months Location; New York City Rate: OPEN/DOE *SUMMARY * This position will assume an essential role during the implementation of Eagle Investment Systems suite of products, e.g., Portfolio Accounting (STAR), Data Warehouse (PACE), Performance, Cash Flow Application, and Reporting. *RESPONSIBILITIES * - Facilitate specification review meetings with end-users to capture business requirements and translate into written specifications. - Perform analysis related to data requirements, process / flows and document solutions.· - Identify / document gaps and inefficiencies and recommend solutions.· - Create comprehensive test plans, perform testing and assist end users with respect to system navigation· & data workflow during the user acceptance testing process. - Assist in defining conversion requirements· & methodology. - Assist mapping legacy system data into Eagle’s pre-defined message center streams / data tags for data conversion, OMS trade feeds and reporting purposes.· - Effectively communicate relevant project information to a variety of stakeholder audiences.· - Provide end user support and training where necessary and mentor less experienced team members.· - Act as a liaison between operations, technology and vendor teams.· *REQUIREMENTS * 1. 5+ years of proven business analysis experience in Asset Management or related industry.· 2. Understanding of end-to-end investment operations.· 3. Experience with Eagle’s investment accounting· & performance systems a plus. 4. Able to lead requirements gathering workshops, work with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, moderate brainstorming sessions, etc.· 5. Experience writing specifications, e.g., business requirements, functional requirements, etc. that are clear, concise and well organized.· 6. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.· 7. Experience writing and executing large scale test plans.· 8. Able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members, and management.· 9. Ability to balance multiple priorities and shift priorities as needed.· 10.
