Suggest approaches on how to fix certain issues such as: version compatibility issues, ip addressing, network pools, disk failures, Hadoop system being up/down * *Architectural duties:They won't be doing 100% of the design/architecture, but they have to have some experience with designing an environment for Hadoop, being able to recommend and leverage certain technologies. They need to know how to explain how the security should be implemented within Hadoop, and outline what kinds of advantages they would see using one tool vs. another. Examples would be Hspace vs. Cassandra, Pic vs. Hive, etc. * *Administrative duties:They will be responsible for provisioning, managing, and monitoring Hadoop once it has been implemented. As stated before, they will work alongside the Architect where they will be expected to implement/administer either Cloudera, MapR, or Hortonworks. They should have also worked with one of the follo! wing distribution systems: Ambari, Zookeeper, Avro, Hive, or Yarn. They will look at scripts written in Per, Python, or Java, so scripting experience is necessary in one of those languages.
