*Required Skills and Expertise:*
Must have 3 - 5 years production project experience in each of the
following:
· Enterprise-level experience in defining solution architecture
options and leading the process of evaluating the most appropriate design.
· Strategic analysis, design, application development and systems
integration experience on medium to large sized development projects.
· Analyzing the current business and IT environment to identify
critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
· Project and team management experience. Must have held project
management or lead role responsible for multiple resources and significant
hours of effort. Experience includes managing project scope, task
assignment, budget control, and reporting project status.
Must have demonstrated expertise in the following:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including
demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements from a diverse
audience, one on one and in group settings, and presenting information
effectively to senior level audiences to provide guidance and strategic
recommendations.
· Must be able to work well within a team environment and have
exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong
interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff.
· Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision
making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and
projects.
· Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to
quickly learn and lead in a new environment.
*JAVA, Programming, and MS SQL Specific Requirements:*
*(Note: only count towards experience if used on a previous or current
client development project and experience must be in support of a
large-scale, complex application system.)*
· Must have at least 5 years JAVA, and JDBC experience.
· Must have at least 5 years XML, HTML, and Java Web Frameworks
Experience (JSP, Servlets, etc.)
· Must have at least 5 years working with Microsoft SQL Databases
(v2000 – v2008).
· Must have at least 5 years’ experience with a mix of the
following (heavy emphasis will be placed on JSF and JavaScript):
o JSF
o JavaScript
o Generix
o Ajax
o XHTML
· Preferred experience should include a mix of the following:
o HTML 5
o LDAP
o JNDI
o PrimeFaces
o Eclipse IDE
o Linux distributions
o JSP
o PDF Generation Tools (Jasper, iReports, etc.)
o MAVEN
o SPRING
o JQuery
o Artifactory
o JUnit
o Redmine
o Subclipse
*General duties: (3 – 5 years of experience preferred)*
· Consult with peers and subordinates on application issues.
· Use application development tools and utilities as appropriate.
· Assist and mentor peers and subordinates as appropriate.

· System specifications

· Support materials and documentation
o Providing support to peers and subordinates on application issues
*Logical Database Design: (3 – 5 years of experience preferred)*
Responsible for performing, or providing expert assistance in, the
following activities:
· Developing overall business design
· Recommending logical views
· Data structure and data definition
*Physical Database Design: (3 – 5 years of experience preferred)*
· Responsible for performing, or provide expert assistance with, the
physical database
design phase.
· Extensive experience designing and implementing complex normalized
relational databases.
· Extensive experience with data migration.
*Programming & Testing: (3 – 5 years of experience preferred)*
Responsible for performing, and providing expert assistance in, the
following activities:
· Developing program code, assemble/compile code and debug code.
· Conducting program unit, string and system testing.
· Preparing program documentation.
*Additional skills depending on the project (experience preferred): *
Working Knowledge of the following in the Microsoft environment:
· Server Architecture experience as it applies to the
SharePoint/.Net environment
· Active Directory Experience
· ODBC Experience
· TFS Experience
· Understanding of Server Hardware as it applies to Application
Server Architecture
· Experience with Windows Server 2003/2005/2008 (2008 in the near
future.)
· Programming and testing using Virtual machine environments on
the Windows platform.
