Position #1: Senior Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 6 months + contract
-Core Java developer with at least 5+ years of experience and strong
analytical skills.
-Must know the following technologies/frameworks: JDK 1.5+, Spring,
iBatis, multi-threaded programming, Maven, Unix/Linux shell scripting,
good understanding of SQL
-Day to day duties are development of batch processing modules
-This group handles post trade batch processing
-Would prefer candidates who have worked in Investment banks.
Position #2: Senior Core Java Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 months + contract
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate studies in computer science; management information
systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in programming, systems analysis, and
enterprise systems development.
- At least 3 years experience with developing solutions for Fixed
Income lines of business (i.e. Corporate Bonds , Treasuries, Municipal
Bonds, etc.)
- At least 5 years of Java, J2EE development
WEB Spring MVC, JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax,
Javascript, JSTL, JSON, Prototype
Server Java, J2EE, Spring-Core, JMX, Web
Services. SOAP, XML, UML
Web/App Servers Apache httpd, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat
OS Linux, Solaris, Windows
MOM Technologies MQ, Tibco RV, RFA is an added
advantage
- Understanding of trade and market data feeds.
- Hands-on experience in various stages of software project life cycle
(SDLC).
- Fundamental understanding of RDBMS and database design applications.
- Strong SQL, Stored Procedure, Database (Sybase/MS SQL Server)
Performance Tuning skills
- Strong server-side JAVA skills, Spring, ANT, Maven, RMI, UNIX Shell
scripting, messaging, Web Services, Axis etc.
- Successful candidates will feel comfortable in a team oriented
environment and possess skills to “win over” the trust of a broad user
base.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and
communicate programming plans and procedures as well as to interact
with all levels within the company
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic
environment with very tight deadlines
