Title: UAT /Financial Analyst Location: New York, NY Duration: 12 month contract ****MUST BE LOCAL FOR A FACE TO FACE***** ****THIS IS NOT AN IT TESTER ROLE. THIS IS UAT/FINANCIAL ANALYSIS. PLEASE READ THE REC!!**** Main Duties The UAT Analyst is required in order to sufficiently test end-to-end Finance/General Ledger flows between Pershing and W&IMA. UAT analyst is expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to these matters. Specifically, the analyst is expected to independently prioritize tasks and manage their own time effectively to ensure timely completion of the following responsibilities: Develop expertise of Pershing system and reports Understand and analyze end-to-end flows from Pershing down to SAP General Ledger Utilize understanding of accounting principles to raise any issues with how revenue and expenses are being mapped in the general ledger Test expense charges, revenue attributions, client assets and net new assets Create control processes for substantiating charges made from Pershing Create new reports for client asset and net new asset reporting Responsible for coordination, communication, training, execution, resolution and management of testing defects to Project Team Responsible for overall success of System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities Ensures testing specifications are properly linked to detailed business requirements Assist BP&A team with revenue and expense reporting as needed Person Requirements BA/BS Degree is required 4+ Years of experience in Management Reporting, Expense Management or Financial Control preferred Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and Access required Excellent analytical and problem-solving approach Strong communication skills, able to articulate issues Azility to multi-task in fast paced environment Ability to use own initiative to resolve issues/ investigate and find solutions Track record of an ability to navigate complex processes, problems and projects through the application of sound judgment, discretion and outstanding time management.
