Position:- SCM Admin Location:- Waukesha, WI Duration :- 6+ Months Job Description: - Strong Linux knowledge with administration background. - Clearcase administration experience - General tools administration background, with experience in licensing, LDAP, SSL, Apache server administration etc. - Scripting experience - in Python, shell scripting and Perl. - Work experience in any distributed SCM tool - Experience in software build process and in build design: Apache Maven, Jenkins, Build forge etc Experience in virtualization technologies - SCM Admin- Installation of SCM tool clients on the supported platform. Monitoring the regular scheduled jobs and restarting the jobs as per the SOPE - scalating the job schedule issues to L2. Daily, weekly and monthly house keeping based on the House keeping SOP. Administration of Repository. - Basic trouble shooting (Ex.client and comspec related issues in ClearCase) Follow best practices rolled out for delivery excellence. - Work according to schedule and target dates decided by the TL. Administrator responsible for resolving escalated troubleshooting requirements. Responsible for guiding junior administrators in trouble shooting non-routine and complex troubleshooting requirements. As a senior member, is responsible for ensuring SLA is met and there are no complaints from customer. Technically sound, Contributes to KM and practice building. Prepares the Change management plan and gets sign-off . Conducts planned regular and random Technical audits. Suggest improvement plans. Implement and share best practices.Implement automation of regular admin activities. Capture and report metrics like Devices/FTE , incidents/FTE, incidents/devices, SA metrics. Perform trend analysis on the data captured.
