Hello Partners, Sharepoint Developer
This will be a contract to hire so they have to be able convert between 6-12 months. Horsham PA I have a Net SharePoint Developer. We would prefer someone who was a .NET developer and has been doing Sharepoint for the last year or 2. Onsite is required. This person will be responsible for interpreting requirements for an online application or form/workflow. They will then build the online application or form/workflow in the SharePoint platform. In addition to creating new applications and forms/workflows, older applications and forms/workflows will need to be maintained. This includes fixing bugs and adding enhancements in future versions. Responsibilities - Create SharePoint applications. - Create SharePoint forms and workflows. - Maintain existing SharePoint forms and workflows. - Maintain existing SharePoint applications. - Follow team standards and best practices. - Respond to support tickets in a timely manner. Accurately estimate level of effort on work requested. - Work very closely with the Business Analyst on requirements interpretation. - Work very closely with the Quality Assurance team to test applications and forms/workflows. - Prepare release packages for the SharePoint Administrator to install on production servers. - Report status and escalate roadblocks to the Project Manager. - Maintain and enhance development skills. - Design online solutions which satisfy requirements. - Train the users on how to operate the solution. - Lead other forms developers by creating and enforcing best practices (code reviews). - Provide insight into up and coming SharePoint development trends. Minimum Requirements - Communication skills - The ability to stay comfortable in front of all types of business clients, including executive management. The ability to explain technical knowledge in a non-technical way. The ability to make alternate suggestions when needed. Outstanding English is a must. - Meeting skills - The ability to take detailed meeting notes which can later be used as requirements and documentation. - Analytical thinking skills – The ability to find alternate suggestions for various requests. The ability to find technical resolutions on your own. The ability to work on multiple projects at once. - Technical skills SharePoint 2010 development experience, including workflows. .Net development experience (strong ASP) SQL Server experience Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML. SharePoint 2013 development experience is a plus. - Other skills - The ability to follow standards and best practices. Positive “can-do” attitude. The ability to turn around quick solutions. Knowledge and experience of an agile approach to development. - Meeting skills - The ability to present and demonstrate solutions and accept feedback. The ability to patiently train users. - Analytical thinking skills – The ability to determine if a feature or change request is valid and worth the effort. - Business Analysis skills - The ability to extract true requirements, which may not be as presented by the client. The ability to design solutions. The ability to write solution documentation. - Documentation skills - The ability to create and train others on team standards and best practices. - Leadership skills - The ability to assist other forms developers and review their work to ensure it meets our standards and best practices.
