*Job Description:-*
This role will work closely with the release manager and project manager to
build, configure, and test servers prior to each migration event for a
datacenter migration. In addition, pre-staging and preparation will be
required on servers that will be migrating as well as validation and
post-configuration to be done during and after the migration event
itself.Skills: Install and Configure Solaris and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Server builds, Install, and Configure Server virtualization technologies
such as Domains, LDOMs, Zones, and VMware VMs. High Availability Clustering
technologies such as Veritas Clustering Service (VCS) Understanding and
configuration of Storage technologies including EMC SAN and NAS? Supporting
networking architecture technologies such as Local and Global Load
balancers? Scripting procedures related to pre-staging for server build out
or replication using tools such as Shell and Perl
Skill1 - Storage Administration
Should have a strong expertize on Storage Area Network (SAN), NAS. SAN
Experience of understanding SAN switches. Great hands on experience of
Logical Units (LUN). Should be familiar with Vendor specific redundant &
business continuity technologies such as Business Copy (BC), Continuous
access (CA),Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), SRDF etc. Should Have
experience ininstalling & configuring Backups, Backup agents using tape
libraries Knowledge.Great understanding on managing zones, Fiber Channel
(FC) technologies. Working knowledge of Backup technologies such as IBM
TSM, HP Data Protector, VeritasNet backup etc
Skill2 - Unix Admin
Canditates should have worked in Unix/Linux Platforms like Solaris,
HP-UX,AIXand Red Hat Linux. Should have Administrative expereince in Unix
like UserManagement, Process & Daemon Management, Softwares (Patches &
Packages)Management. Should have worked on File systems like File systems,
Exporting & Mounting File Systems, Recovering File system Errors and Device
Path Management.Should have worked on File Permissions. Should have worked
on Performance issues, Volume Managers & clusters.Knowledge of Disk Space
Management,Performing user administration,performing System
securit,configuring networkfile system and Auto FS.
