Position Profile: Responsibilities: •Managing the complexities a highly integrated application portfolio and responding to business needs with agile and flexible solutions •Utilize strong writing and documentation skills as exemplified by enterprise level SOA standards, best practices and patterns •Interface with key areas of Insurance Solutions including enterprise architecture as well as key business leads to create and maintain SOA Strategies and SOA Blueprint •Develop SOA reference Architecture for Insurance Solutions •Create and present SOA design patterns, frameworks, principles and participate in projects requiring SOA •Create and maintain SOA design artifacts for Insurance Solutions projects and consult with application architecture and development teams for implementation •Create defined and repeatable processes and frameworks to best manage and implement SOA at Insurance Solutions •Utilize the centralized EA repository and strategic road mapping processes as part of any solution engagement •Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems •Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions as needed •Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making •Mentor and coach peers in the lines of business on best practices •Build an industry leading integration capability for our segment focused on high quality, reliable, reusable integration across our entire portfolio of IT assets Qualifications: •Must have experience with all of the following: Transformation layer, Business logic, Business data, & integration layer, Authorization/Authentication (Security Framework) •Strong experience in Health Care Business processes (Claims, Provider, Eligibility, etc.) •Experience in creating and managing Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) •Experience in building and creating Service registry Requirements: •Experience with SOA Lifecycle, Maturity Model and defining SOA Strategy (SOA Delivery Strategies) •Strong experience with the following technologies: Core Java, SOA, JEE, Middle-tier technologies, ESB, Message Broker, Eclipse, XML, Servlets/JSP, MVC architecture •Strong ability to define Domain Models & Service Models •Experience with Service Contracts and Modeling coarse grained (orchestrated) and fine-grained Services •Clear understanding of Web services approach including Web service protocols such as SOAP and REST Assets Rachel Lian Sr. Technical Recuiter ITBrainiac Inc.
