Need to understand what the requirements are and how to execute. Dotdata is an internal application this BSA will be assigned too - ETL process; Data Mapping; Data Transformation. This person needs to know how to extract/find data; transform the data and load the data so the information looks the same in different systems. There are interfaces with output systems so understanding file formats and XML layouts is mandatory Trace Matrix Functional Requirements use cases Work with Testing team on test cases and strategy and look at defects to see if it need to go back to dev teams or if its an issue with attest case BA sits between the Testing team and developers Must haves Understanding Data; File Transfers; XML Formatting and building xml files; File Specs; what data types there are Experience with requirements analysis, use case design, databases and data mapping, file transfer and XML formats 3-5 years experience as BA. Lead business through reqiurements. More technology oriented. Must understand FTP and XML. Work with qa leads and testers to identify defects.
