Overview:
The consultant will provides Subject matter expertise with client to build
understanding of the current state, future state and integration plan for
the future state of the Cisco based Architecture.
Requirements:
1. Must have 5-10 yrs infrastructure Architecture Assessment SME
inclusive of the following items such as : security, load balancing and …
2. Must have previous exp designing the conceptual, logical and
implementation of for Clients Cisco/Infrastructure platform,
a. Lead interview process with executive team members, decision
makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals,
and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
i. Lead the
analysis and identification Discovery
1. Gather current inventory documentation
2. Interview key CLIENT IT personnel for additional inventory
components and usage
3. Gather infrastructure and other costs
4. Create inventory of hardware
5. Create Application/infrastructure topology
ii. Analysis
1. Analyze business objectives
2. Analyze the business objectives vs. current IT applications and
infrastructure
3. Compare current environment to industry standards
4. Document gaps/overlaps
iii. Draft Architecture
Assessment
1. Construct initial sections of the Architecture Assessment
2. Identify potential solutions to address current technology
gaps/overlaps
3. Review sections with appropriate stakeholders
4. Identify potential quick hit initiatives to address immediate
gaps/overlaps
iv. Complete

v. Present completed
Architecture Assessment
3. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
4. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
