Job Title: SQL Programmer Location: Brooklyn, NY Duration: 24-36 months PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Disability Services Program (DSP) provide enhanced decision support, system interface, quality assurance, reporting and an administrative functionality. Planned improvements will include: enhancing continuity with case information and document reviewed at the appeal application, six month follow up reviews, and the pre-hearing prep, and administrative functionality to give managers the ability to add fields to reference tables, merge clients and complete administrative edits. Tasks & Duties • Design, Create and Modify SQL Server Database architecture as per the business requirements. • Provide assistance to the team in the topics related to data management. • Create SSIS packages and work with DBA to schedule the packages as the business requirements. • Develop Stored Procedures in SQL Server 2008. • Analyze legacy database design and plan for data migration to the new database environment. • Co-ordinate with SQL Server DBA team to deploy Database related changes to test, UAT and Production environments. • Develop Database design documentation, SSIS package and stored procedure documentation. • Design, Develop & perform unit testing of Web Forms and Web Services using ASP.NET, C# and ADO.NET. • Participate in all phases(Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit testing, and Maintenance) of Systems Development Life Cycle.. • Interact with business analysts, other developers and management to design and develop web applications. • Create test cases and perform unit testing as per the business specifications. • Debugging Applications using Visual Studio IDE. • Perform integration testing of all modules in the application. • Debug and fix production support issues and perform integration testing of the changes Required Skills • Minimum 4 Years Experience working on SQL Server 2008 in developing Stored Procedures, Functions, Schema , Views, Triggers and Transact – SQL. • Minimum 4 Years Experience in Web Application Development using Visual Studio 2008/2010, .Net Frame Work 2.0/3.5/4.0, C# and Visual Source Safe. • Minimum 4 Years Experience in the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
